The Rock is a part of Oak Ridge Community Church 

      The idea of a Rock ministry started in Minneapolis Minnesota where a 
      very insightful pastor named Mark Darling desired to create a unique  
      church experience that was designed around Generation X. The  
      Rock church has grown and there are now Rock churches throughout 
      the US and even in Europe. We here at the Rock are committed to 
      that same vision. We know that the traditional perspective of church 
      can disenfranchise a whole new generation of people that are 
      spirituality minded, but looking for a different experience.

      Everyone on the team here in Columbia is committed to helping build
      a unique church experience that is focused around relationships and 
      not rules. The greatest way that we demonstrate our faith is by 
      serving the real needs of our members and community around us.
